Olga Tokarczuk and Szczepan Twardoch nominated for Europese Literatuurprijs 2020!
A long list of Europese Literatuurprijs 2020 has been announced. Nominated titles have been selected by fifteen bookshops from all over the Netherlands. Europese Literatuurprijs is awarded for the best European novel, which was published in Dutch last year.

Andrzej Bart’s ”Fabryka muchołapek” in French with the support of the Book Institute
In France, a translation of Andrzej Bart's famous novel Fabryka muchołapek (“The Flytrap Factory”) has been published. The book was translated by Eric Veaux. The publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

International Literary Festival in Budapest postponed
The organisers of the International Book Festival in Budapest announced yesterday that the event scheduled for 23-26 April this year will not take place on the original date.
