Found in Translation Award 2022 goes to Jennifer Croft
The Polish Book Institute Kraków, the Polish Cultural Institute London and the Polish Cultural Institute New York are pleased to announce that the 2022 Found in Translation Award goes to Jennifer Croft for The Books of Jacob by Olga Tokarczuk published by Fitzcarraldo Editions in the U.K. (2021) and by Riverhead Books in the U.S. (2022).

Translation of “Lód” by Jacek Dukaj awarded the Magnesia Litera
Yesterday, the winners of the most prestigious Czech literary award, the Magnesia Litera, were announced. The laurel for literature in translation was awarded to Jacek Dukaj’s novel Lód ("Ice"). The translation by Michala Benešová and Michael Alexa was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
